We are a team of artists, designers and consultants with a background in making specialist art and design schemes across service environments, including airports, healthcare, mental health centres, and education. We focus on using art to promote the wellbeing of both users and staff.
Recent work includes: an app that helps to reduce fear and anxiety in child patients; user-friendly wayfinding schemes for dementia sufferers; and environmental design that allows a mixed-faith community to use the same space for prayer.
Our output encompasses traditional arts, such as painting, sculpture, murals, through to cutting-edge media, such as video, apps and installations. We have a track record of forging successful creative partnerships with stakeholders and designers to produce artwork that integrates meaningfully with its environment and culture.
Our expertise covers every stage of the commissioning process, from community and stakeholder engagement to the development of relevant and insightful art strategies, through to the selection of artists and the co-ordination and manufacture of artwork.
Our work makes a difference: it helps to bring reassurance, inspiration and stimulation to those in need; it addresses social and functional issues, such as wayfinding and information design; and it helps communicate the values, locality and culture of the institution.
