Aimee Stimpson

I joined the Public Health ‘family’ in 2008 and have worked in various public health roles locally, regionally and nationally. While working locally I worked in Wilshire PCT and then Wiltshire Council where I was Associate Director of Public Health. I joined PHE in 2014 where I have worked on regional and national public health programmes across the domains of healthcare public health and health improvement. I lead the national Healthy Places team which has responsibility for health and planning, housing, transport, NSIPs and the environment programmes. The Healthy Places team promotes a vision that everyone, wherever they are, is able to live, learn, work and play in a place that promotes health and wellbeing, sustains the development of supportive and active communities and helps reduce health inequalities, now and for future generations.
