Alexander Tully

Alexander is passionate about the role of spatial planning in healthy and resilient city development. An Associate Director, with the Landscape Masterplanning Urbanism team, at Arcadis, he contributes urban planning and design expertise to a multi disciplinary design and engineering offer. He has worked as a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer in the private and public sector as well as in a private developer client role.

Based in London since 2016, he has over 20 years of international experience working on mixed use residential development, strategic infrastructure and masterplanning projects, notably; ’The Ropewalks’ in Liverpool, sustainable development masterplanning for MASADR, in Abu Dhabi and strategic planning for urbanisation and pollution challenges, in Jakarta.

Fascinated by city function, an interest in global challenges faced by our urban communities has driven him to champion urban planning inputs into resilience work streams, benefitting flood management, connectivity, population health and wellbeing.
